MY ROLE
As a UI/UX Designer with user research responsibilities, this role focused on designing an intuitive and efficient cross-platform product. Tailored for farmers managing inventory, deliveries, incoming shipments, transfers, and logistical operations.
User-Centered Design
Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that improve usability and accessibility for farmers with diverse levels of technical expertise.
Cross-Platform Development
Guaranteeing a seamless experience not only across mobile, tablet, desktop devices but also ios and android devices.
User Research & Testing
Conduct comprehensive user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to identify user pain points and guide design decisions.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business and user needs.
This role was crucial in connecting user needs with practical, scalable design solutions that improve farm management operations. Refining UI components and workflows based on user feedback and analytics to enhance efficiency and usability.
This product was highly complex, requiring seamless integration across farmers, sales representatives, business management, administration, logistics, and more. Previously, inventory management varied by individual or administrative assistant, with most relying on Excel spreadsheets to manually track seed inventory, replants, and shipments. The process demanded significant time and effort. Through user testing, we witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm for this product and its potential to simplify workflows, ultimately making users' lives easier.
