RANI CREATIVE

UI/UX DESIGN FOR EVERY ISSUE
THE BEGINNING

One of the college students I mentored when she was in high school reached out to me to see if I would be interested in taking on a new project. A few young women had decided to start a creative collective and they needed a website. Their creativity and drive had immediately impressed me so I was all onboard. Little did I know they would grow it to 53 different contributing members, a slack group with everything being planned and functioning, a full blown marketing/social media/finance team and team members from across the world. Every issue reaching new heights, better submissions and more growth for the collective as a whole. Below is some of the website designs throughout the different issue launches.

SOME OF MY FAVORITE ISSUES

For every issue release which happened quarterly we would completely rebuild the entire website to reflect the issues theme. This meant 4 days of 18-20 hours of implementing new pages and importing content. The team would collect all of the submissions from around the world and we used asana tasks to link all of the content being added to each issue. Once all the content was plugged in we would send a staging link in the slack group and have everyone go through the entire site for QA purposes. We had marketing campaigns planned weeks in advance to build up the release dates.
